I have a redish mole in my belly button. Is it cancerous?

Hi recently i have found a redish mole in my belly button. I've been picking on it and stuff because I am not used to it but its a little smaller than the tip of a chopstick. I think it scabbed because i was scratching it but its normal now and its pinkish, do i hav a cancerous mole?
